About the role
We are seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of engaging learning experiences across our 1,100-employee IT organisation. In this role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to create an L&D strategy that supports both professional and soft skills development, ensuring our workforce remains agile and future-ready. You will manage a small L&D Support team, overseeing training programs, team performance, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Performance, your work will shape a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across all locations.
What will you bring?
- Proven experience in L&D, specifically in content creation and delivery within an IT environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to design engaging and interactive learning experiences using various tools and technologies.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent; CIPD L5 or equivalent L&D Practitioner qualification is desirable.
- Interest in technology and continuous learning.
- Understanding of digital system methods such as HR data structures, API’s, SAML, Networking technology/terminology.
- User Experience and User Interface design and/or process mapping.
- Experience in promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent consulting and critical analysis skills, ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across global teams.
- Able to present information and data to a senior audience in a compelling way.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and finding creative solutions.
- Able to embrace and drive change with the courage to challenge the status quo and balance high-level perspective with pragmatic approach.
