About the role
The Analytics Business Partner (Practices) is a domain-aligned role responsible for translating data into actionable, strategic insights that support Node4’s Practices function, encompassing Delivery, Support, and Customer Success.
Embedded within the Practices function, the Analytics Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by combining deep operational understanding with strong analytical capability and hands-on expertise in Power BI modelling and reporting.
This role goes beyond descriptive reporting. The Analytics Business Partner is accountable for:
Building and maintaining Power BI semantic models
Developing executive-grade reports and dashboards
Delivering forward-looking, insight-led analysis that informs operational, commercial, and strategic decision-making
Driving improvements in service performance, customer outcomes, resource utilisation, and operational efficiency
The role works closely with Practices leadership, the Data Platform team, and junior analytics roles to ensure insights are trusted, relevant, and aligned to Node4’s strategic priorities.

Act as the primary analytics partner for the Delivery, Support, and Customer Success leadership teams
Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Practices
Develop a deep understanding of operational processes, service delivery models, customer success objectives, and associated KPIs
Influence decision-making through insight-led recommendations rather than simply providing data
Ensure analytics activity supports operational excellence, customer retention, customer satisfaction, service performance, and profitability objectives
Support strategic initiatives through analysis of operational performance, customer outcomes, capacity, and service efficiency
Analytics Delivery & Enablement
Translate business questions into analytical approaches, models, and meaningful outputs
Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models to support analytical and reporting needs
Define and own measures, calculations, and KPI logic (including DAX) in partnership with stakeholders
Ensure models are performant, scalable, and aligned to agreed business definition
Develop high‑quality Power BI reports and dashboards, including senior leadership and board‑level reporting
Drive consistency of KPIs and performance measures across Delivery, Support, and Customer Success teams
Support the transition from manual or fragmented reporting to scalable, insight‑driven solutions
Insight & Analysis
Deliver tailored, domain‑specific insights that drive commercial, operational, and strategic outcomes
Move beyond descriptive reporting toward diagnostic, predictive, and forward‑looking analysis
Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities before they surface as requests
Own the analytical narrative for the domain, including interpretation, insight, and recommendation
Collaboration & Governance Support
Work closely with the Data Platform team to ensure high‑quality, trusted data underpins insights
Support data governance initiatives by highlighting data quality issues, definition gaps, and ownership questions (without owning governance execution)
Champion data literacy by helping stakeholders understand and use insights effectively
