About the role
The ISV Partner Manager is responsible for identifying, onboarding, developing, and scaling Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partnerships that align to the company’s go‑to‑market strategy. The role focuses on building mutually beneficial, revenue‑generating partnerships through structured engagement models, joint business planning, enablement, and co‑sell execution.
This role acts as the primary relationship owner for assigned ISVs, working cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure partners are successfully enabled and commercially productive.
Key Responsibilities
ISV Partner Identification & Onboarding
Identify and qualify ISVs aligned to strategic technology, vertical, and go‑to‑market priorities.
Lead ISV onboarding, including commercial alignment, technical enablement pathways, and engagement expectations.
Define partner “give / get” models, responsibilities, and mutual value propositions.
Partner Development & Relationship Management
Own the day‑to‑day relationship for assigned ISV partners.
Build and execute joint business plans with clear goals, metrics, and growth targets.
Drive partner progression through defined engagement tiers (incubate, grow, evolve).
Act as escalation point for partner issues, ensuring alignment across internal teams.
Go‑to‑Market & Co‑Sell Execution
Develop joint GTM propositions with ISVs, aligned to internal solution roadmaps.
Enable sales teams on ISV value propositions, use cases, and differentiation.
Support co‑sell motions including pipeline development, opportunity qualification, and deal support.
Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, partner briefings, and enablement activity.
Commercial & Performance Management
Track partner performance metrics including pipeline, revenue, engagement activity, and enablement status.
Support access to partner funding, incentives, or co‑sell programs where applicable.
Continuously assess partner ROI and alignment to strategic priorities.
Internal Alignment & Governance
Work closely with Practice Leads, Delivery, and GTM teams to ensure partner alignment with technology roadmaps.
Ensure partners are aligned to internal delivery, support, and operational models where relevant.
Maintain governance standards across partner engagement, onboarding, and lifecycle management.
What will you bring?
Essential
Experience managing or developing ISV or technology partnerships.
Ideally understanding of Business Central, CRM and Dynamic 365
Strong understanding of partner‑led go‑to‑market models.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across sales, technical, and marketing teams.
Commercially minded with experience building joint value propositions.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Desirable
Experience working with cloud platforms, SaaS, or enterprise software vendors.
Experience operating within tiered partner engagement models.
Understanding of incentive, funding, or rebate structures.
Key Measures of Success
Growth in ISV‑sourced and ISV‑influenced pipeline and revenue.
Number of active, enabled, and productive ISV partners.
Sales team adoption and usage of ISV propositions.
