About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Configuration & Asset Manager to take ownership of our Configuration and Asset Management capability across Node4. This is a key role within our Managed Services function, responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and value of our CMDB and asset data enabling informed decision‑making across the business.

You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Pre‑Sales, OCTO, PMO and Operations, leading the Configuration and Asset Management processes end‑to‑end and driving continuous improvement in how we manage configuration items, assets and associated data.

This role suits someone who is detail‑driven, confident operating in a fast‑paced environment, and comfortable working independently while influencing stakeholders across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning and continuously improving Configuration and Asset Management policies, standards and processes

• Managing and maintaining the integrity of the CMDB / AMDB, ensuring data accuracy, relevance and availability

• Ensuring Configuration and Asset Management processes are embedded and followed across the organisation

• Providing reporting, insights and recommendations to key stakeholders

• Supporting system integrations to enhance CMDB / AMDB capability

• Working closely with Change Management to ensure configuration items are correctly recorded and governed

• Managing relationships between configuration items to improve service quality and troubleshooting

• Driving reconciliation activities to ensure consistency and reliability of data

• Championing ESaaS and promoting best practice across Node4

• Proactively working within governance, risk and compliance frameworks

• Supporting wider ITSM activities when required

What will you bring?

• Strong, hands‑on experience in Configuration and Asset Management

• Proven experience operating in a fast‑growth or fast‑moving environment

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Confidence communicating with a wide range of technical and non‑technical stakeholders

• Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines

• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach

• ITIL Foundation qualification (v3 or v4)
