About the role
The SMB Account Manager is responsible for ongoing account management, client support
and expansion of opportunities through cross-sell and up-sell within the higher opportunity accounts. The role reports directly into the Head of Sales.
What will you do?
Strategy & Planning:
• Foster and maintain business relationships with existing clients and contracts across
an organisation
• Collaborate with Renewal Rep to ensure account retention
• Collaborate with other roles as required to achieve account and client objectives, and
maintain client satisfaction inline with NPSe
• To have active ADP’s for strategic accounts
Data & Insights:
• Fulfill transactional business within assigned set of accounts
• Apply both product and IT services market knowledge to the understanding of
customer needs to sell solutions
• Find incremental cross-sell / up sell opportunities to help customers enhance their
capabilities
• Use Node4 sales tools and methodology to effectively manage client and opportunity
data
• Develops the most suitable IT services product solutions for prospects
• Keep up with trends in related industry and competitors
What you will bring
• Professional Experience: Strong operations background within the tech industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related discipline;
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Expert with Microsoft Word or
Powerpoint; Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management Communication:
Advanced verbal and written communication skills; Advanced presentation skills;
Business Acumen
• Executive Presence: Able to effectively influence C-suite peers and collaborate
effectively with Heads of Marketing and Sales
• Additional Criteria:
Technology enabled outcomes
• Experience of optimising and modelling data to support operations effectively– data
driven decision making measured against KPIs and ROI
• Matrix management experience across marketing, sales, product & channel
• Experience of working with ambiguity and in driving an agenda across conflicting
priorities and influencing teams outside direct management
Personal competencies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead by example and collaborate
effectively with all stakeholders
• Ability to create a fast-paced, proactive and collaborative environment always striving
for excellence and growth
• A ‘customer-centric’ (ESaaS) mentality and experience driving audience-based
initiatives
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and ability to work collaboratively with
others
• A natural collaborator who can build strong relationships across Node4
• A team player that is passionate about delivery. Will need to be ‘hands on’ when
appropriate and not defer to delegation
• Ability to prioritises various workstreams and good time management skills
