About the role
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Solution Architect to join our growing Microsoft Business Applications team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 CE solutions that help customers transform how they manage their sales, service, marketing, and customer relationships.
You’ll collaborate with customers, consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the architecture and solution design align with business goals, technical requirements, and best practices. This role is a combination of strategy, design leadership, and hands-on solution ownership.

In this role, you’ll:
- Lead solution architecture for Dynamics 365 CE implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Engage with clients to capture and define business processes, requirements, and future goals
- Design scalable, robust, and secure Dynamics 365 CE solutions aligned with best practices and Microsoft’s roadmap
- Define and document architecture, data models, integrations, and security models
- Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from pre-sales through to delivery and support
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and clients to ensure solutions are delivered successfully and to a high standard
- Guide development teams on technical design, integrations, Power Platform extensions, and Dynamics customisations
- Contribute to pre-sales activities by providing solution advice, effort estimates, and architecture guidance
- Stay current with Microsoft product updates and roadmaps to ensure solutions leverage the latest capabilities
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to the overall growth of our delivery capability
What will you bring?
- Proven experience in a Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect or Senior Consultant role with end-to-end ownership of CRM solutions
- Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, or Project Operations)
- Strong understanding of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and how it complements Dynamics 365 CE
- Experience designing solutions with third-party system integrations, data migrations, and custom extensions
- Ability to define robust security models, data models, and technical architectures
- Skilled in leading customer workshops, stakeholder engagement, and solution presentations
- Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, user-friendly, and technically sound solutions
- Strong understanding of development lifecycle processes, including DevOps, ALM, and testing frameworks
- Excellent communication skills – comfortable working with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
- Microsoft certifications are highly desirable, particularly in Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE (e.g. Solution Architect Expert)
