About the role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Sales Operations Director to lead and evolve Node4's Sales and Marketing Operations. This senior leadership position plays a critical role in optimising sales performance, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and delivering operational excellence to support revenue growth and customer engagement.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role oversees all aspects of sales operations, including sales processes, analytics, territory and quota design, compensation strategies, and marketing operations integration.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive leader with a strong background in sales operations strategy, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Tasks
- Lead the strategy and continuous improvement of the Sales Operations function.
- Oversee end-to-end sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Marketing, IT, Product) to align on business priorities and strategic goals.
- Manage segmentation models and evaluate opportunities within key accounts.
- Drive process excellence and enforce best-practice adoption across the sales organisation.
- Design and manage territory structures and quotas to balance workloads and drive performance.
- Collaborate on sales compensation strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Deliver actionable insights using tools like Power BI to inform decision-making.
- Produce comprehensive reports on KPIs, sales forecasts, and revenue metrics.
- Support the training and enablement of the sales team to enhance performance.
- Lead and mentor the Sales Operations team to foster a high-performance culture.
What will you bring?
- Extensive experience in a senior Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations leadership role.
- Strong command of sales strategy, performance management, and data analytics.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering scalable processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep knowledge of CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and data platforms (Power BI a plus).
- Experience in compensation plan design, forecasting, and territory planning.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Background in working with or aligning marketing operations is beneficial.
