About the role
The System Manager is a high-profile role and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Sales & Marketing technology stack. With a key focus on Node4’s CRM platform, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Your expertise will drive the success of our sales & marketing tools by enhancing user experiences and driving innovation.
What will you bring?
- Experience in managing CRM platforms, preferably in a sales & marketing context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas concisely.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a methodical approach to product development and documentation.
- The confidence to delve into business requirements and make recommendations to senior stakeholders and Directors.
- Full project lifecycle experience, utilising Waterfall, Agile and DevOps methods as needed.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision for Sales & Marketing systems, considering market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product goals and work with the Product Owners to agree long-term strategy.
Roadmap Ownership:
- Own the product roadmap, prioritising features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Translate high-level business requirements into actionable product features and user stories.
Requirements Gathering and Mapping:
- Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders, including end-users, business analysts, and technical teams.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and Sales & Marketing system capabilities.
Product Development:
- Work closely with the operational and development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
- Define acceptance criteria and collaborate on testing efforts.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, milestones, and upcoming releases.
- Champion the product and advocate for its value proposition.
Financial Management and Governance:
- Analyse system usage data, financials, licensing costs and benefits to provide insights to craft decisions and demonstrate success.
- Engage Node4's Sales & Marketing community to ensure the systems embrace the latest best practice and governance.
