About the role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales and business growth at Node4. Your focus will be on identifying and engaging new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and showcasing the value of Node4’s portfolio of services, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central, Customer Engagement, and the Power Platform).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, developing and executing sales strategies while collaborating with a dynamic team. With access to industry-leading training and development resources, you’ll have everything you need to thrive and grow in this role.
Key Tasks
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through a mix of outbound and inbound sales activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and develop tailored outreach strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through regular follow-ups and relationship management.
- Present and promote Node4 solutions to prospective clients, showcasing their business value.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical consultants, to create compelling proposals.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and client meetings to build your professional network.
- Support the sales process from initial engagement through to closing deals and onboarding clients.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems, ensuring data is up-to-date and actionable.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends and opportunities for growth.
What will you bring?
Essential:
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role (minimum 2 years).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to generating new business.
- Building trust and relationships with new customers
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and services.
Preferred:
- Experience in the technology sector or working with software solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools.
- A keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Willing to learn new technologies
