About the role

The Risk and Compliance Officer role serves a crucial function within the organisation in overseeing the management of risk across Group. The role contributes to the company’s long-term success by ensuring the effective management of risk and organistional adherence to compliance obligations, to support the success of strategic goals. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that the organisation operates ethically, legally, and in alignment with industry regulations and standards.

What will you bring?

• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well drafted communications and documents;
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and be flexible and work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail;
• Well-developed team working skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong IT skills and confidence to use new systems and multiple systems
• Some knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements applying to professional services businesses;
• Experience of working in a professional services business and with policies and procedures would be an advantage
• Ambitious for success, with a strong sense of initiative, a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a technology organisation.
• Proven experience in handling client compliance requirements including standards.
• Experience with client audits, certification processes, and legal reporting requirements
  

Qualifications

• BA Degree, relevant to the field, advance degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Relevant training and/or qualifications relating to Risk Management
