About Networks 

The Network Support team are responsible for providing high-quality support and maintenance of Node4’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and continuous improvement. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network systems, identify potential issues, and provide swift resolution to minimize downtime.
• Incident Management: Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Configuration & Deployment: Assist in the configuration, deployment, and optimization of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Customer Interaction: Provide clear and effective communication with clients to understand their requirements and offer technical guidance and support.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of network configurations, changes, and support activities.
• Collaboration: Work with the engineering and project teams to support the implementation of new network solutions.
• Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to network security protocols and best practices to protect data integrity and system access.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and methodologies to suggest and apply best practices.

What will you need? 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar networking certifications preferred.
• Experience:
  • Experience in a network support or similar role.
  • Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and technologies.
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of cloud networking and SD-WAN technologies.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
