About the role
Commercial Manager role is responsible and accountable for commercial and contractual activities in relation to customer and supplier engagement supporting account team as needed with innovative solutions, negotiation, dispute management and the mitigation of risk.
In performing this function, the Contract Manager will be responsible to interlock with various entities within the business, to ensure synergies are achieved, costs are controlled and risk mitigated.

The Contract and Commercial Role will be expected to demonstrate certain skills to successfully fulfil the role. These include:
Demonstrate experience in a similar role within an IT environment.
- Ability to maintain and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and other senior managers.
- Innovative approach to deal with issues and challenges.
- Commercial acumen in recognising commercial risks and finding solutions.
- Understanding of legal terms and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of current best practice approaches and techniques.
- Previous experience of people management in commercial environment.
- An appreciation of the technologies used in customer solutions.
