About the role
As a Field Service Support Engineer, you will be the go-to person for our valued customers on site, you will skilfully manage excellent customer interaction, technical knowledge and manual responsibilities to provide a cohesive experience for clients. This is very much a hands-on role as opposed to a service desk role, although some telephone support may be required; therefore, you must be willing to tackle physical work with professionalism and a diligent responsibility towards transporting and managing equipment which is vital for the role. An excellent line of communication must be always upheld with team members and clients alike to ensure the highest level of customer service. This role will be across multiple client sites in Warwickshire, you will be required to travel across these client sites performing support duties, therefore ideally you will live in the Warwick/Leamington area.
Overall, our Field Service Support Engineers are a focal point of our managed services team providing first class support to our customers ensuring they are leveraging the benefits of their technology investment on site.

Essential Criteria
- Must hold or be able to successfully achieve and maintain NPPV3 with SC.
- 1-3 years’ experience with Microsoft technologies.
- Able to evidence excellent customer service skills.
- Possess a passion for IT and keen to progress.
- Excellent and demonstrable documentation ability, for both technical documents and customer communication.
- The ability to work under their own initiative, as part of the team knowing when to seek guidance and take technical responsibility.
- Flexibility for helping cover different roles as and where needed.
- Manage and handle equipment with the highest care.
- Have a valid UK driving license and access to a car.
- Happy to travel across Warwickshire to client sites.
- Diligent and focused approach to physical work while ensuring to always follow health and safety procedures.
- Sufficient understanding of:
- Windows 10, 8 and 7 Operating Systems.
- Avaya Phone System.
- VMWare/Hyper-V
- MS Cloud Technologies.
- Networking.
- Computing Hardware.
