About the role
As an Apprentice Service Desk Analyst you will be the entry point for all requests and tickets, while also working closely other Service Desk Analysts to provide a cohesive experience for clients. You will be required to update customers on all stages of support calls, from logging, research, action plan, escalation to resolution and if required timely escalate. An excellent line of communication must be upheld at all times with team members and clients to ensure the highest level of customer service.
During your 17 month apprenticeship you will be provided with the tools you need to succeed within the role and develop soft skills as well as technical skills. Work based experience will be supported by day release to attend theory sessions and complete Microsoft exams. Overall, our apprentice service desk analysts are a focal point of our managed services team providing first class support to our customers ensuring they are leveraging the benefits of their technology investment.
This a ongoing Register Your Interest Application, we have cohorts of Apprentices joining in March and September every year, our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to you closer to the time in regards to your application.

- Excellent self-driven time management skills applied when delivering support services.
- Highly motivated to deliver quality outcomes with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent personal management skills relating to conduct, timekeeping and delivery against commitments.
- Excellent punctuality skills relating to customer and non-customer engagements.
- Excellent inter-personal skills working in and contributing to small and large teams both client facing and internally.
Essential Criteria
- Able to evidence excellent customer service skills.
- Possess a passion for IT and keen to progress.
- GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or above.
- A desire to complete the apprenticeship entirely.
- Must be able to travel to Derby/Stafford periodically for training.
- Must be able to attain or hold NPPV3 + SC Clearance (this means you must have lived within the UK for the last 5 years not having left for any longer than 3 months).
