About the role

As a key member of the Technical Excellence division, you will provide 3^rd line support and troubleshooting to Node4 partners and customers.

• Working within our Private Cloud Support team you will respond to customer support tickets based on agreed priority/severity levels.
• Engage with third-party suppliers for advanced troubleshooting when required.
• Engage with the Node4 Service Desk and Service Management teams.
• Update and create Knowledge Base documentation.
• Support customer and partner onboarding; understanding SLA’s, product sets and license entitlement.
• Work on escalated support issues when required. The Private Cloud Support team own any incidents through to resolution and provide root cause analysis.
• Liaise with customers, act as lead point of contact when delivering technical support and ensuring continuity of services and customer satisfaction.
• Approach problems in an analytical and logical way with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Working within ITIL based approach to incident, problem, and change management.
• Occasional weekend and evening work to facilitate upgrades and other works on the Node4 Cloud Platform
• Part of On-Call Rota when required, providing out-of-hours support to escalations from 1st line support staff.

What will you bring?

• Highly experienced using a hypervisor platform like VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or Azure to manage day-to-day operations on virtual machines.
• Microsoft Office 365 administration experience.
• Highly experienced with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS.
• Administration experience on a backup product like Veeam or Commvault.
• Experience working in a 2^nd line Cloud Support role or above.
