About the role

As a Platform Collaboration Engineer you will report to the Platform Cloud Manager and will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the collaboration platforms that enhance communication and productivity across our organization. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors and carriers to ensure seamless integration of collaboration and communication tools. Duties will also include managing and maintaining records of numbers with external DBs and for compliance, supporting the billing function of the platform and acting as an escalation point to colleagues in the Support and Delivery teams.

What will you bring?

  • Experience of SIP based UC / collaboration systems (ideally Microsoft or Cisco) (Essential) 
  • Experience of Session Boarder Controller concepts and administration (ideally Genband/Ribbon, AudioCodes)  (Essential) 
  • Experience of SIP Routing Server concepts and administration (ideally Kamailio)  (Essential) 
  • Experience of Linux CLI 
  • Experience of scripting and source control 
  • Experience of Cloud based communications systems (ideally Microsoft Azure / Dynamics 365) 
  • Good working knowledge of Windows Servers 
  • Self-driven and self-managed, with good forward planning skills. 
  • Innovative and dynamic, creative problem solving 
  • A drive to be better in all areas. 
  • Remain enthusiastic about the work and stay up to date with the latest developments of the technology being used. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Confidence to work and communicate across a variety of audiences in a professional manner. 
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task. 
  • Being able to work as part of a team. 
  • Analytical and customer focused.

  • MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams 
  • MS-720: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer 
  • Webex Calling Intermediate Administration 
  • Webex Contact Center Expert 
  • Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
